System Administration Guide
Create and configure a Network Agent Scan Back queue 
Note
These procedures assume the High Security option is not enabled in Network Agent or at 
the printer. The actual procedures will vary slightly if High Security is enabled. 
Complete the following steps at the Nuvera DPS or DC/P print server to create a scan back 
directory:
1.
From the DocuSP main window, select [Logon: Logon]. A Logon screen displays.
2.
From the User Name drop-down box, select [System Administrator].
3.
Enter the password for the System Administrator account, and select [OK] to log on to the 
system.
4.
From the DocuSP main menu bar, select [System] and [Unix Terminal Window].
5.
At the command prompt, enter <su>.
6.
When prompted, enter the root password.
7.
At the command prompt, enter <admintool>.
8.
Complete the following steps to add a new user account to the DocuSP controller:

This account will be dedicated for Nuvera Scan Back to FreeFlow.
a.
From the menu bar, select [Edit: Add]. The Add User dialog box displays.
b.
In the User Name text box, enter the name for the new user. 
Note
There is an 8 character maximum for user names. Choose a user account name that 
will be meaningful to others who access the system.
c.
In the User ID text box, accept the default value or enter a unique numeric ID for the 
user. 
d.
In the Primary Groups text box, enter <xrxgrp>.
e.
In the Comment text box, enter <FreeFlow Scan Back user account>.
f.
From the Login Shell drop-down list, select [C].
g.
From the Password drop-down list box, select [Normal Password]. The Set User 
Password text box displays. 
h.
In the password text boxes, type and retype the password for the user account, and 
select [OK]. 
Note
There is an 8 character maximum for passwords.
i.
Ensure that [Create Home Dir:] is selected. 
j.
In the Path text box, enter </var/spool/XRXnps/saved/freeflow>.
Admintool searches for a directory named “freeflow” at this location and creates it, if 
required. This directory will be the designated save location for all scanned files that 
are retrieved by the FreeFlow system.   
Note
Nuvera operators must understand that they should not use this scan to file location 
for any use other than for submitting scan back jobs to the FreeFlow system. Jobs 
saved to this location will be deleted by the FreeFlow system after successful RDO 
conversion.
