Note
Although Network Agent is capable of saving jobs to a repository, it cannot be configured 
to retrieve jobs from within repositories. Therefore, if automatic IQI enhancement of jobs is 
desired, the Scan Back save location must be designated on the Windows file system. 
12. Select [OK] to save the changes.
13. Close all open screens.
14. Right-click the Network Agent icon in the Windows System tray, and deselect [Disabled] to 
start the Network Agent service.
15. Proceed to the next section, 
Verify Scan Back
Complete the following procedure to confirm the Network Agent queue is properly configured:
1.
Complete the following steps at the Nuvera DPS or DC/P to scan a document:
a.
Select the [Scan To File] button.
b.
Ensure the save location is set to the scan back directory that was created on the 
Nuvera DPS or DC/P in section 
Note
The directory path should be /var/spool/XRXnps/saved/freeflow.
c.
Enter a job name.
d.
Select a save format. The job can be saved as either a [Single-Page Tiff] or as a [Multi-
Page Tiff
].
Note
Ensure resolution is set to 600 x 600 x 1 (600 dpi), or IQI will not be performed. 
e.
Load a document in the scanner and select [Start] to scan. The document is scanned 
and saved to the scan back directory on the Nuvera DPS or DC/P.
Note
The FreeFlow system will automatically retrieve the job from the save location on the 
Nuvera DPS or DC/P and save it in the Network Agent Scan Back save location designated 
on the FreeFlow system.
2.
Complete the following steps on the FreeFlow system to verify the scanned image(s) 
were retrieved from the Nuvera DPS or DC/P: 
a.
Do one of the following:
If the Network Agent save location was designated on the Windows file system, open 
FreeFlow File Manager.
If the Network Agent save location was designated within a repository, open the 
repository.
b.
Browse to the Network Agent save location that was designated.
c.
Verify that the job scanned on the Nuvera DPS or DC/P printer now resides in the 
Network Agent save location on the FreeFlow system.
d.
Assuming the scan job was only a test file and not Customer data, delete the job from 
the Network Agent save location.
e.
Close all open screens.
