server that successfully scheduled the meeting and includes
details such as the meeting date and time, the meeting site name,
the meeting ID, and the phone number needed to join the
meeting.
E-mail notifications also include a Click-to-Attend link that
connects directly to the conference site.
Those organizations with a firewall can customize their e-mail
notifications to contain two Click-to-Attend links: one for
internal participants and one for external participants. End users
attending meetings inside the domain can access any meeting,
whether it is located on an internal or external server, through the
single MeetingPlace Web URL.
Those choosing to attend meetings from the telephone must dial
into the correct system as indicated in their e-mail notification.
Note: Profile users attending rolled meetings via the Click-to-
Attend link must verify that their e-mail address has been
properly formatted. When the MeetingTime parameter “Type of
e-mail system” is set to “other”, the corresponding e-mail address
must be in SMTP format (User@company.com). If a user has
their profile e-mail address set to First name, Last name,
notifications may not be distributed properly when meetings are
rolled.
Note: The meeting scheduler is responsible for forwarding the e-
mail notification to invited participants.
Note: Please consult with your MeetingPlace Support
Representative for further information on how to customize your
notifications for both internal and external participants.
