6.  Lift the cover straight up to remove it from the unit. The interior of the chassis 

resembles Figure 15.

Warning! The covers are an integral part of the safety design of the product. Do 
not operate the unit without the covers installed. Statement 1077 

Caution! For proper cooling and airflow, replace the cover before turning on the 
unit. Operating the unit for extended periods (over 30 minutes) with the cover 
removed might damage the internal components. 

Installing the Cover 

To install the chassis cover after you have completed your hardware options 
installation or maintenance: 

1.  Review the information in

2.  Place the cover over the chassis so that the side edges of the cover sit just 

inside the sidewalls. (See location 1 in Figure 4-11.)
