The rechargeable torch is intended to be used as a mobile light source. A highly luminous LED
serves as the light source. The torch is recharged via a cigarette lighter socket (12V) of a vehicle.

Use of this device in any other way than as described above is not permitted. The safety instruc-
tions must be observed at all times!

• For safety and approval (CE) reasons, unauthorised conversion and/or modifica-

tions to the product are not permitted.

• Do not disassemble the product! 

Make sure that rechargeable battery is not short-circuited, dismantled or thrown
into a fire. There is a risk of fire and explosion!

• A leaking or damaged rechargeable battery may burn the skin if touched. Under

these circumstances, protect your hands with suitable gloves.

• The product is not a toy and should be kept out of the reach of children!

• The product must not get damp or wet.

• Attention, LED light: 

Do not look directly into the LED light!

Do not look into the beam directly or with optical instruments!

• Do not leave the packing material lying around, as it can be a dangerous toy for a

child! Danger of suffocation!

• If you have any questions that are not answered in this instruction manual, please

contact our technical support centre or consult a professional. 

• If a cigarette lighter is inside the cigarette lighter socket, remove it first. 



If the cigarette lighter is still warm, wait until it has completely cooled down before
storing it in e.g. the glove compartment. Otherwise, there is a risk of fire!

• Insert the rechargeable torch into the cigarette lighter socket.



The rechargeable torch light must only be inserted into a cigarette lighter socket with
an operating voltage of 12 V. 

The rechargeable torch is not suitable for an on-board voltage of 24 V. This will
destroy the torch and the warranty will be void!

Please observe the operating instructions for your vehicle!

Due to different types of cigarette lighter sockets, appropriate adapters were provided with the
rechargeable torch:

Metal jacket: Must be used when the diameter of the cigarette lighter socket is too big. In this
case, the rechargeable torch would be loose which makes recharging impossible.

Plastic clip with contact pin: Depending on how deep the middle contact is inside the cigarette
lighter socket and how the socket is designed, it might not be possible to insert the rechargeable
torch deep enough for the recharging process to start. In this case, the plastic clip must be
attached to the bottom of the rechargeable torch.

After the rechargeable lamp is plugged into the cigarette lighter socket, a blue LED
lights when power is available; this serves as a night light.



• The rechargeable NiMH battery is generally flat upon delivery; the rechargeable torch cannot

be used. Thus, charge the torch first.

• Voltage is generally only provided to hte cigarette lighter socket, when the ignition of the 

vehicle is on. 

Place the rechargeable torch into the cigarette lighter socket minding the correct orientation
(glass lens of the torch faces away from the cigarette lighter socket). Leave the rechargeable
torch inserted in the cigarette lighter socket while driving with the vehicle.

Occassionally, you will have to push the torch back into the cigarette lighter socket since the
electric contact between middle contact of the cigarette lighter socket and the rechargeable
torch might be disrupted due to vibrations during driving. This will also discontinue the 
charging procedure.

• The complete charging procedure takes about 10-14 hours if the battery is completely 

discharged. Depending on how often and how long you are using the vehicle, it might take
some time until the rechargeable battery is fully charged. 

• Remove the rechargeable torch from the cigarette lighter socket, pull it out.

• Turn the upper part (the metal ring with the glass lens) of the torch a little bit in clockwise 

direction to switch the torch light on.

• To switch it off, turn the upper part of the rechargeable torch a little bit in counter clockwise

direction (until the stop).

• Do not use force when switching on/off, do not overwind the metal ring.

• If the rechargeable torch is no longer used, re-insert it into the cigarette lighter socket.

The rechargeable torch is maintenance-free for you, do not dismantle it. The LED bulb and the
NiMH battery cannot be replaced.

The outside of the product should be cleaned with a soft, clean cloth only. Never use aggressive
cleaning agents or chemical solutions since these might damage the surface of the casing or
impair the operation.

Dispose of an unserviceable product in line with the relevant statutory regulations.
