Serial Commands – Setup 
 
Command Syntax 
set serial [s0/s1] modem init-string <init-num> <init-str> 
Description 
Configures the modem initial strings. 
Init-num can range from 1-5. 
Triggers for a reboot upon save. 
Example:   
Set serial s0 modem init-string 1 ATZ 
      
Set serial s0 modem init-string 1 "ATZ AT&F" 
Important Note:   
Use double quotes if more than one word is used in the <init-str>. Refer to 
example 2 above. This holds true for all the following commands that need 
a string as a parameter. 
Default Value 
Init-string 1 is set to 'ATZ' 
Init-string 2 is set to ' ' 
Init-string 3 is set to ' ' 
Init-string 4 is set to ' ' 
Init-string 5 is set to ' '

Sets the modem OK string.
