RIP commands
Routing Information Protocol (RIP) can be enabled or disabled and set to listen (RIPv1).
Enabling and disabling RIP
You can enable or disable RIP by issuing the set rip routing command.
Syntax: set rip routing <off | on>
Argument:
Syntax: set rip routing <off | on>
Argument:
off | on
off disables RIP; on enables RIP
Example:
In this example, RIP is enabled to listen.
Viewing RIP status
You can view the current status of RIP by issuing the show rip command.
Syntax: show rip
