Gain Rx (dB): The user can modify the gain in reception of the device. 
Gain Tx (dB): In this field it is possible to modify the level of the signal transmitted by 
the device.  
Thresholds:  to insert measure thresholds in order to signal variations of the data 
operated to you.  In the case of degradation of the conditions of the line it is possible 
to take provisions. In Multimode, the device supports also ITUT – T G.992.2 (G. Lite). 
Capacity DWN: Threshold on the line capacity of the downstream connection. 
Margin DWN: The limit on the downstream noise margin. 
Data Rate DWN: Set the minimum downstream data rate for the link. 
Action: Action to take in case of the test result is out of threshold limit. It’s possible to 
come up a warning message or to close the link. 
3.3.1. ISND access 
 
The following parameters can be defined in the COMMON 
SETUP for the ISDN access: 
B channel: choose the B channel used for outgoing calls. 
•  Any, the instrument requests a free B channel to the network. 
•  Rotation, the instrument requests a different B channel for each call. The 
channel is selected between the available ones.   
•  B<number>, the user chooses a specific B channel. 
User profile: Select the call profile for the test. You can choose from a list or define 
your own user profile. 
Own/MSN: Enter your local MSN number (calling party). 
Own sub address: if necessary, enter your local sub address (calling party). 
User to user information: enter the information you want to use for the user to user 
information service. This can be ASCII or hexadecimal information.   
TEI management: choose one of the TEI management preferences.   
CLIR/COLR: activate or deactivate the Calling Line Identification Restriction (CLIR) 
and Connected Line Identification Restriction (COLR).
