ISDN TESTER AND ANALYZER D2001
NX

                                                                                        USER’S MANUAL

Line current limit: Select the line current limit value according to the standard.
Flash time: Duration time of the Flash 'R' key to request special services. The value
ranges from 40 to 1000 msec.
DTMF tx level (dBr): Set the line transmission level of the DTMF tones.

To perform the NT-S simulation test, you need to use the
optional TT2001 adapter.
Use the TT2001 adapter to feed phantom power supply over the S/T BUS in order to
verify the proper working of the terminal equipment (TE).

To ensure proper verification, make sure you have disconnected
the TE from the NT1 network termination.
The TT2001 takes its own power from the special AC/DC adapter supplied with the
option (531001446). See Appendix A for information on connections.
The TT2001 connector, a RJ45 connector indicated as “FROM D2001”, must be
connected to the instrument’s RJ45 connector indicated as ’S/T’.
The TT2001 simulates the standard operating condition for the S/T BUS; the device
provides the tested terminal with approx. 1100mW.
The STATUS LED located on the front panel allow for checking the absorption of the
tested terminal. When the LED is off, the terminal absorption over the S/T BUS is
either null or lower than 3 mW.
The green “NORMAL” LED goes on if absorption is lower than 1100mW.
The LED blinks to indicate an excessive absorption of the tested terminal.

In this configuration, the tester manages only a TEI at time.
3.3.3.  NT simulation (TT2001 option)

To perform the NT substitution test, you need to use the optional
TT2001 adapter. This feature is available on D2001
NXQ
 model
only.
