Inclusion into TaHomA
NOTE: Only 1 device at a time can be included into TaHomA.
1.  Put the thermostat into programming mode by pressing the corresponding MENU button, then use the blue down arrow
to navigate to “Z-Wave Install.” Press the corresponding SELECT button.
2.  In TaHomA’s Device Configurator, press the “Start Listening” button. Wait until the Device Finder window displays the
message “Listening for a device to add to the network” before continuing to the next step.
3.  The thermostat will ask if you want to “Add thermostat to Z-Wave Network.” Press the red arrow to indicate “yes” for
Z-Wave inclusion. Once the Device Finder window displays the message “Found a Device” and the Name and Room
drop down menus appear, the thermostat has been successfully included into the TaHomA system.
If the Device Finder window hangs in the “Listening for device” state, you may be out of range of the TaHomA
controller, in which case, you will have to use the USBIC for programming (refer to page 69 f
or more information
about the USBIC).
4.  In the Device Editor window, enter a name for the thermostat and assign it to a room.
5.  The thermostat is now fully included in the network.
