5.  In the Device Finder window, enter a name for the module and assign it to a room.

6.  The module is now fully included in the network and can now be controlled by TaHomA. Remember to activate the 

connected device through TaHomA’s Device Configurator to confirm successful programming.

NOTE: If the module is relocated while included in TaHomA, run “Rediscover Z-Wave Network” in TaHomA’s Device 
Configurator. For more information on this feature, refer to the

Advanced Features section of this guide.

NOTE: Only 1 device at a time can be removed from TaHomA.

1.  In TaHomA’s Device Configurator, click the “Remove Device” button. Wait until the Device Remover window displays the

message “Listening for a device to remove from the network before continuing to the next step.”

2.  Briefly press and release the ON/OFF BUTTON. TaHomA will remove the module from the system and the icon will

disappear from TaHomA. 

Pressing the ON/OFF BUTTON will act as a toggle switch and turn connected loads ON or OFF.

Please be mindful when using TaHomA’s scheduling capabilities when managing unattended devices.

The Leviton Plug-In Dimming Module provides ON/OFF/DIM/BRIGHTEN control of freestanding incandescent lights locally 
and through TaHomA. Once installed, lights can be dimmed to preset levels just like overhead lights as part of Scenes, or as 
needed by the End User. It plugs into any standard 120V AC outlet. As part of TaHomA’s Z-Wave mesh network, the Plug-In 
Dimming Module will act as a repeater, ensuring commands will be transmitted regardless of obstacles or dead spots.

NOTE: Only 1 device at a time can be included into TaHomA.

1.  Ensure lamp to be plugged into module is functioning properly.  Plug lamp into module.

2.  Plug the module into a live 120VAC wall outlet. If the outlet is controlled by a wall switch, the switch must be kept ON 

at all times. 

3.  In TaHomA’s Device Configurator, press the “Start Listening” button. Wait until the Device Finder window displays the

message “Listening for a device to add to the network” before continuing to the next step.

4.  Briefly press and release the ON/OFF BUTTON. Once the Device Finder window displays the message “Found a Device” and

the Name and Room drop down menus appear, the module has been successfully included into the TaHomA system.

If the Device Finder window hangs in the “Listening for device” state, you may be out of range of the TaHomA 
controller, in which case, you will have to use the USBIC for programming (refer to page 69 for more information 
about the USBIC). 

5.  In the Device Finder window, enter a name for the module and assign it to a room.

LED is Green: Connected load is OFF.

LED is OFF: Connected load is ON.

LED is Flashing Amber: Module is communicating 
with TaHomA.

LED is Solid Red: Communication error.
