Section 3.4.1 Mechanical Snap Installation
ActiveSense Sensors may be fitted with a snap foot that is used in conjunction with "snap" style traps to
report when a snap event has occurred.

Position the snap trap to rest on the snap foot, which holds the sensor up at a slight angle. When the
trap snaps it will release the snap foot and the sensor will drop. This change in angle is what is reported
as a snap event.
