The camera is equipped with a connection cable with two connectors on the end:
•  BNC connector: The video signal (PAL) is available over this. Use an adapter, if you do not have a 

BNC cable for this connection.

•  3-pole connection jack: The external power supply is to be connected with this. A suitable con-

nection socket with screw clamps is included.

The camera may be operated either with a stabilised current of 12 V/DC or an alternating current 
of 24 V/AC.
Pay attention to the correct connection of the cable to the 3-pole connection jack:
12 V DC Clamp “12 V/DC” and “COM” (COM = minus/-)
24 V/AC: Clamp “24 V/DC” and “COM”

 

 The camera will be damaged if it is not connected correctly or is connected to the wrong 
voltage; loss of warranty!

If you install and use the camera in outdoor areas, the two connectors may only be placed in a 
location that is protected from humidity (in dry interior areas). Otherwise, the connectors will cor-
rode.
Set the correct input channel on the display device to display the camera image.
If necessary, the camera is to be correctly oriented so that you can monitor the desired fi eld of 
view.
In the interior of the camera, there is a manually adjustable zoom lens; the focus can also be cor-
respondingly adjusted. For this purpose, see the next chapter .
In the dark, the IR LEDs are activated automatically. However, the LEDs are not visible to the hu-
man eye.  Please bear in mind that at night, coloured image reproduction changes into a black 
and white monochrome representation on a connected monitor.
