i) Setting function “MOTION DET”
So that a movement in the monitoring area can be recognized more easily, you can mark a maxi-
mum of four rectangular areas.
If there is a movement in one of these areas, this frame blinks to make you aware of the move-
ment.
“DETECT SENSE”
Sensitivity for motion detection
“BLOCK DISP”
„ON“: The image areas in which a movement occurs are displayed alternately
briefl y inverted. This increases the visibility where the image content already
changes.

“OFF”:
No
inversion

„ENABLE“: Press the button to display a cross-hatch pattern.  At the point
where the cross-hatch is visible, the brief inversion of the image content oc-
curs upon movement (see above under „ON“).

To exclude certain image areas from the inversion (if it would be disruptive
there), move the coloured cursor with the button to the left, right, up or
down.

Press the button again briefl y, and the cross-hatch disappears from the cur-
sor fi eld (or reappears if you press the button again). Erase as much of the
cross-hatch as needed until the only area in which the pattern is seen is the
one that should later be displayed inverted (see „ON“).

Leave the cursor mode by pressing and holding the button for 2 seconds and
then releasing it. The setup menu is now displayed again.
“MONITOR AREA”
„ON“: Only the area set with „BLOCK DISP/ENABLE“ (see above) is monitored
and presented inverted in the case of movement.

„OFF“: If „BLOCK DISP“ is set to „ON“, an image inversion occurs for the whole
image when motion is detected. This can be used, for example, for testing
purposes to set the sensitivity of the motion detection.

If „BLOCK DISP“ was switched to „OFF“, the image area stored under „AREA
SEL“ is switched off of the monitoring.
“AREA SEL”
Here you select one of four image areas (1/4, 2/4, 3/4, 4/4).

You can draw a rectangle using the sliders for „TOP“ (up), „BOTTOM“ (down),
„LEFT“ (left) and „RIGHT“ (right) that is later monitored for motion.

If movement occurs within the rectangle, the rectangle fl ashes.
We recommend that you either use the inversion (select the area as described above) or select
max. four rectangles that blink briefl y when motion is detected. You should not activate both
marking functions at the same time.
