Select the General tab in the extended options dialog.

Enter the following parameters:

Enable voice compres-
sion during local opera-
tion

Suppress periodic con-
trol message during lo-
cal operation

These options reduce the data volume and thus the bandwidth 
requirement on the line. They are automatically activated if the 
teleworking option was activated when logging on to the system.
