Label the Main Distribution Frame

Figure 23

shows the graphic symbols used on the supplied labels for the system,

cross-connections, information outlets, and cables.

To label the MDF:

1. Write the floor and building identification on each label as required.

2. Insert the labels into the plastic holders.

3. Snap the holders into the appropriate locations on the MDF.

4. Label the cables as required using the supplied labels. Label code number 220A (Comcode

103970000) contains all required labels.
