9. Press 

 to configure Unit 1.

10. Press the blue button on Unit 1 when prompted.

The announcement now tells you the new status of the clus-
ter

11. Press the keypad number associated with the number of the 

next unit you want to add to the cluster.

12. Press the blue button on the next unit when prompted.

13. Repeat steps 11 and 12 until you have configured the entire 

cluster.

14. Press 

 when prompted.

15. Connect the expansion cables.

Each expansion cable connects from the OUT port of one 
unit to the IN port of the next unit.

After you press 

, you have approximately thirty seconds to 

connect the expansion cables before the Bizfon automatically 
reboots.

If the reboot begins before you have connected the expansion 
cables, continue to connect the cables. The units will reboot 
again.

To confirm the status of each unit, press the blue button on each 
expansion unit (2, 3, or 4). Do not press the button on unit 1 yet.

Pressing the blue button on unit 1 runs the diagnostics on every 
unit. The diagnostics verifies that everything is working prop-
erly and ensures that you get the best performance from you 
Bizfon 680s. 

NOTE: You cannot use the Bizfon 680 for calls during diag-

nostics.
