The Cisco 7304 routers support downloadable system software and microcode for most Cisco IOS and 
microcode upgrades. This enables you to remotely download, store, and boot from a new image.

Because the Cisco 7304 router IOS image contains the Cisco IOS image for the 7300-CC-PA, when you 
upgrade the Cisco 7304 router IOS image, the Cisco IOS image for the 7300-CC-PA is automatically 
upgraded.

For the latest software release information, refer to the Software Advisorr on Cisco.com. You must be a 
registered user on Cisco.com to access this tool. To access Software Advisor, click Login at Cisco.com, 
type “Software Advisor” in the SEARCH box, and click GO. Click the link for the Software Advisor

The minimum Cisco IOS release requirements for the 7300-CC-PA are:

Cisco IOS Release 12.2(11)YZ or a later release of Cisco IOS Release 12.2 YZ

Cisco IOS Release 12.2(14)SZ or a later release of Cisco IOS Release 12.2 SZ
