Managing the eStreamer Service

: Any

You can manage the eStreamer service from the user interface. However, you can 

also use the command line to start and stop the service. The following sections 

describe eStreamer command line options:

start and stop the eStreamer service.

 on page 413 describes the command line 

options available for the eStreamer service and how to use them.

Starting and Stopping the eStreamer Service

: Any

You can manage the eStreamer service using the 

manage_estreamer.pl

 script, 

which allows you to start, stop, reload, and restart the service.

You can also add command line options to the eStreamer initialization script.
