2 Click MPEG Source. The MPEG Source List window opens.

7 Click in the Transport Stream ID field and type the TSID associated with the
input port of the SCS device to which you want to associate this MPEG source.
8 Click the Transport Protocol arrow and select the type of transport protocol
being used to send the data to the SCS (for example, ASI).

10 In the Connect to area, click the Headend Name arrow and select the headend

12 Click the Device Name arrow and select the name previously defined for the
SCS associated with the selected output port on this MPEG source.
13 Click the Port number arrow and select the input port number on the SCS
device.
14 Click Apply. The system saves this information into the DNCS database and
updates the illustration so that it shows the information you entered.
15 Click Save. Go to Activating the SCS (on page 61).
Activating the SCS
After you set up the connections between the SCS and its associated MPEG source,
complete these steps to complete the SCS modeling in the DNCS.
1 On the DNCS Administrative Console, click the DNCS tab, and then click the
