To exchange data, place both scanners in run mode. See Place the 
Scanner in Run Mode on page 7-12.

To let multiple scanners (controllers) consume input data from the 
same input device:

Establish communication between the input and one of the scanners. 
See either:

• Configure Your Network Offline on page 2-1
• Configure Your Network Online on page 6-1

1. Map the slave scanner to the input memory of 

the master scanner. This is the data that the 
scanner (controller) gets from the slave.

2. Repeat for the data that the master scanner 

(controller) sends to the slave.
