Dual-port Token Ring Net Module LEDs
When a dual-port token ring net module is configured for a speed (4 or
16 megabits per second (Mb/s)) and it is connected to a Model 5505P Token
Ring Host Module that is configured for a different speed than the net module,
the Rx and Insert LEDs on the net module light green. The host module LED
lights amber. These indicators are misleading; the router is not inserted into the
ring.

PPX Flow Control LEDs
Some early production units of the Model 5380 and Model 5580 router
modules have a bank of LEDs labeled PPX Flow Control. Disregard these
LEDs; they are not operational. Later production units do not contain these
LEDs (see
