Chapter 6.  LCM/RCM Replacement

Shut down power to the library.

(Press and hold down the power button on the front of the library until the 
button flashes; it takes a few minutes to gradually shut down components.)

Go to the rear of the library and locate the LCM/RCM. (If necessary, see 
Component Location on page 7.)

Use a #2 Phillips screwdriver to loosen the two LCM/RCM screws, located on the 
top and bottom of the LCM/RCM (Figure 6-2).

Pull outward on the handle (Figure 6-3).

Place the old LCM/RCM on a clean work space.
