This section provides the most up-to-date information for the Spectra T120 Assisted Self 
Maintenance (ASM) Guide—information that will be added to the ASM guide the next 
time it is revised.

ƒ Before replacing an LCM, make sure you have a current back up your library 

configuration, MLM database, and encryption keys. If you do not have a current 
auto-configuration save file stored on a USB storage device or elsewhere, use the 
instructions in the following sections to back up this information.

ƒ Exporting and Protecting Encryption Keys on page 108

ƒ If you are unable to back up your configuration and do not have a recent backup 

stored on a USB storage device or elsewhere, make sure you have the following 
information available. You will need this information to reconfigure your library 
after you replace the LCM.

ƒ All the license keys (Configuration > Option Key screen)
ƒ Networking configuration information (Configuration > Network)
ƒ Information about currently configured mail users, including their email 

address, SMTP server IP address information, and what auto-generated 
notifications (Error, Fatal, Warning and Info messages) they receive 
(Configuration > Mail Users)

ƒ All MLM alert settings (Media Lifecycle Management)
ƒ All partition configuration settings
ƒ All AutoSupport Profile information (Maintenance > AutoSupport > Manage 

Profile)

ƒ AutoSupport Contract number
ƒ Site address
ƒ Contact Name, Phone and email listed.

ƒ User names and passwords (Security > Edit Users)
ƒ All exported encryption keys and their passwords
