After You Replace the LCM
After you replace an LCM and the library restarts, restore the partition definitions and
library configuration settings using one of the following methods.

replaced and install it in the new LCM compact flash slot as described in the Spectra
T120 Assisted Self Maintenance Guide

ƒ Use an auto-save configuration file you previously saved to a USB storage device to
restore the library configuration and MLM database (see Restoring the Library From
an Auto-Save Configuration File
 on page 77
).
ƒ If you do not have an auto-save configuration file available, refer to the Spectra
T120 User Guide for information about using the advanced utilities to restore a
previously saved library configuration file. See Restoring the MLM Database on
page 81 f
or information about restoring the MLM database using a previously saved
backup. If necessary, update the configuration to the most current settings after the
restore is complete.

configuration settings using the information you recorded in Before You Begin on
page 126). R
efer to Chapter 6 – Loading Media and More Configuration on page 46

Chapter 8 – QIP Replacement
The pins on QIPs are packaged with a protective covering. Remove the covering so the
pins are exposed before installing the QIP.
Caution
Do not install the compact flash card from the LCM you
replaced unless directed to do so by SpectraGuard Support.
Installing a corrupted compact flash card can cause the new
LCM to fail.
