Set DNCS Tracing or Logging Levels
Before you can begin using the signonCount utility, you need to set the tracing or
logging levels of three DNCS processes. By setting the tracing or logging levels for
these processes, you ensure that the DNCS captures the maximum level of detail for
these processes.

Note: The processes are hctmConfig, hctmMac, and hctmProvision.
The procedure you use to set the tracing or logging levels depends upon the version
of system software running on the DNCS. Select one of the following options:

Setting the DNCS Tracing Levels
Follow these instructions to set the tracing levels of the hctmConfig, hctmMac, and
hctmProvision processes to level 2.
1 From the DNCS Administrative Console, select the Utilities tab.
2 Click Tracing. The DNCS Tracing Management window opens.
