If fax

 is set to 

, fax reception begins after the specified number 

of rings.

If 

 is set to 

, printing does not begin automatically after the fax is 

received. A received document is saved in memory and printed at the time specified by the 
user.

If a telephone is connected to this product and the same line is used for phoning and faxing, the 
fax can be received after picking up the telephone receiver. 

If the telephone receiver is not picked up, reception begins automatically if the call is from a 
fax machine and 

 is set to 

 on the control panel. If the call is from 

a telephone, it will continue to ring. 

If the 

 is set to 

 on the control panel, the ringing continues until the 

receiver is picked up.

When the telephone rings, pick up the telephone receiver, and then press the Start button.

After the reception is complete, hang up the telephone receiver.
