Sequence
The Sequence settings allow the user or administrator to specify the next tray to use if the current tray 
runs out of media. The Auto Tray Switching and Auto Tray Sequencing options must be enabled to 
access these settings.
For example, if the trays are set up in the following sequence:
When a print job is sent requiring Tray 2 and Tray 2 runs out of paper during printing, Tray 4 will be 
used next, followed by Tray 1 and then Tray 3. The machine continues down the sequence specified 
until the job is completed or all trays run out of paper.
To edit tray settings:
1.
At your Workstation, open the web browser, enter the TCP/IP Address of the machine in the 
Address bar.
2.
Press Enter.
3.
Click on the Properties tab. If required, enter the admin username admin and password 1111 and 
click OK.
4.
Click on the Services link.
5.
Click on the Printing link.
6.
Click on the General Link.
7.
In the Machine Settings section enable the Auto Tray Switching and Auto Tray Sequencing 
settings.
8.
Click on the General Setup link.
9.
Click on the Tray Settings link.
10. For each tray configured on the machine set the required mode.
11. For each tray in the list click the Enable check box to enable a prompt which allows the tray 
settings to be changed when a tray is opened and closed.
12. Use the drop-down menus to assign a sequence number to each tray.
13. Click Apply to save the tray settings.
Alert Notification
Customers can set the Xerox machine to notify Users or operators of problems as they occur on the 
machine. Alert Notification is configured via CentreWare Internet Services.
