Select RF Station Configuration and press 
Enter
. The RF Station Configuration menu is 
displayed.

Select Operating Mode and press 
Enter
. The data field highlights.

Press the arrow keys to select Normal mode and press 
Enter

Select RF Transmit Status and press 
Enter
. The data field highlights.

Press the arrow keys to select unblocked and press 
Enter

Select Link Monitor Remote Station Rank and press 
Enter
The data field highlights and the 
remote automatically connects with the base station. 
9.
Select Link Monitor Period and press 
Enter
. The data field highlights.
10. Type a link monitor period (1) and press 
Enter
. Link Monitor starts as soon as a non-zero value is 
entered in the field. (A setting of 1 means that 50% of all data is test data.)
11. View the link statistics. From the Main Menu select Link Monitor Display and press 
Enter
. The RF 
Link Monitor Statistics window is displayed.
12. Check for BER = 0.0E+00 and Corr Power between 15 – 50 dB
If the Corr Power is <15 dB the 
receive signal is probably too weak. If the power is >55 dB the receiving unit is probably saturated. See 
, page 101 for more information about Link Monitor Statistics.
