The device frame is required to attach a Keyguard or TouchGuide to the device. The frame also provides 

additional protection for the device. 
The frame can be snapped into place and used as shown under “Attaching the Frame” below. It can also be 

attached more securely with screws as described under “Attaching the Frame More Securely” on page 19. 
If you choose to secure the frame with screws: Remove the two screws from the sides of the device. 

These screws are only used to cover the screw holes. They are not long enough to secure the frame to 

the device. Save these screws in case you later decide to use the device without a frame. 
Note: To attach the frame securely to the device, you will use the larger screws that were provided in a 

small plastic bag that came with the frame. 

Note: You must attach the device frame before you can mount a Keyguard or TouchGuide. 
1.  Press either the right or left side of the frame 

onto the edge of the device 

2.  Pull the top tabs and the other side into place. 

 

 

3.  Pull the bottom tabs into place.
