Eco:   power-saving normal operation

Boost:   Quick cooling function (increased power consumption)
C =  pre-set button for setting the desired temperature / increasing the temper-
ature in 1 °C increments
D =  digital display of the desired / reached temperature at integrated temper-
ature sensor
E =  pre-set button for setting the desired temperature / decreasing the temper-
ature in 1 °C increments
F =  setting the response sensitivity of the integrated battery monitor (see table
in separate data sheet)
PLEASE NOTE:
Before using, we recommend cleaning the inside and outside of the cool box
with a damp cloth for reasons of hygiene. Also do not store unpackaged
food in it.

Place the unit on a firm and level surface.

After selecting the appropriate power source, connect either 12 / 24 V
cable or the 100–240 V connection cable to the required power source.

Switch on the cool box by the on / off switch (A).

You can now use the pre-set buttons (C and E) to select the desired tem-
perature in 1 °C increments by holding the „+“ or „-“ button until the de-
sired temperature (e.g. 8 °C) is displayed. When you release the pre-sett
button, the setting is confirmed by flashing. Afterwards the display shows
the current interior temperature at the integrated temperature sensor and
the unit will cool the interior until the desired temperature has been reached.
The cool box has zones with different temperatures. The display is an ap-
proximate average.

By simultaneously pressing of the „+“ and „-“ buttons you can switch the
temperature display from „C“ (Celsius) to „F“ (Fahrenheit).

Using “Memory function“ allows the last set temperature to be stored. If
the cool box is switched off and then on again (without having to set a
new temperature), the unit recalls and sets the last set temperature.

Operation at 100–240 V alternating current

Before connecting and using, check whether the mains volt-
age corresponds to the unit’s operating voltage specified
on the rating plate.

The unit is factory set so that an internal temperature between + 10 °C
and 0 °C can be selected during normal operation (Eco). If you want to
reach an internal temperature below 0 °C and start the freeze function,
you can do so using the “Boost” function. After pressing the Boost button,
the interior temperature can be selected down to -18 °C using the pre-set
button. The “Boost“ function is switched off automatically after 72 hours
and the cool box switches back to Eco mode and the previously set tem-
perature.

12 / 24 V  alternating  current

Before connecting and using, check whether the mains volt-
age corresponds to the unit’s operating voltage specified
on the rating plate.

Check whether the voltage source is protected with at least 15 A (12 V)
or  7.5 A  (24 V).
When operating over 12 / 24 V the interior temperature can be adjusted be-
tween +10 °C and -18 °C using the pre-set buttons.
The built-in battery monitor ensures that the battery voltage doesn’t drop below
a threshold during motor standstill.
When supplying power via a starter battery it is advisable to choose position
„high“. The values listed in the attached data sheet refer to the connections
on the compressor and do not include any voltage losses in wires:

Always disconnect the unit from the battery when a quick charger is used.

When operating in HGVs: Turn off the unit before tilting the cab.
Information about the sensitivity of the different settings of the battery monitor
can be found in the enclosed technical data sheet.

Energy saving tips

Choose a well ventilated location protected from direct sunlight.

Only place pre-cooled foods in the cool box.

Do not open the cool box more than necessary.

Ensure that the cool box is not overpacked and that air can circulate suf-
ficiently between contents.

Avoid unnecessarily low interior temperatures.

Unlocking the lid hinge
(only models 18, 25, 35, 45)
If you use the device in a location with limited space in the lid area, you can
unlock the lid hinges thus making the cover removable.
Using a screwdriver, loosen the lid latch as shown in figure. Then, the lid can
be removed and re-inserted at an opening angle of approx. 20°.
  Maintenance, cleaning and storage

Do not use heavy duty cleaning agents, use a damp cloth and a mild
soap solution instead.

Remove the power cable from the power source before cleaning.

Never clean the unit under running water.

Heavy frost and ice formation in the unit reduces cooling efficiency. Do
not use sharp objects use to remove this layer, instead switch off the unit
and defrost frost and ice.

If the unit remains unused for longer periods of time, leave the lid slightly
open to allow circulation of fresh air in the cool box.

Possible faults
Before calling customer service, we recommend you check the following
questions:
-  Is the unit in a suitable location with the required ventilation?
-  Does the power socket supply electricity?
-  Is the power cable damaged?
-  Is the plug properly connected to the power socket?
-  Is the unit switched on?
The device has a fault diagnosis system, which facilitates troubleshooting.
Pay attention to the LED next to the power button:
