This guide provides instructions for installing a 2U Rackmount enclosure into an 
equipment rack, and for installing tape drives into the 2U Rackmount. 
The 2U Rackmount accommodates the following tape drives: SDLT 320 (SCSI), 
SDLT 600 (SCSI), SDLT 600 (Fibre Channel), DLT-S4 (SCSI), DLT-S4 (Fibre Channel), 
and LTO-3 (SCSI). 
The 2U Rackmount comes with either one or two tape drives installed. If yours 
came with one, you may add another in the future, as long as both use the same 
interface. See

Installing the 2U Rackmount in an Equipment Rack

packing box contains the 2U Rackmount enclosure, mounting kit, and 

accessories. 

2 Use the mounting kit to install the 2U Rackmount into your equipment rack. 

Refer to the installation instructions included with mounting kit. See 

figure 1
