When attempting to add a device for the first time with Xerox App Gallery Web Portal,
the browser (Internet Explorer / Chrome) displays a pop-up message appears which

Depending on your internet browser, the pop-up message states the following:
• Internet Explorer: “An Active X pop-up window should now appear. Please permit
the installation of the Xerox Device Connector from Xerox in order to enable
communication between Xerox® App Gallery and your Multifunction Device (MFD).”

Important
By default, the Xerox Device Connector add-on / extension is installed and enabled. It
