Access mode setting is shown below. 

The flash memory in this series has the following three modes. Methods of setting the modes (1) and (2) are 

explained in this section. As for the mode (3), see the instruction manual of the ROM writer you are using 

for details. 

(1) CPU-ROM mode   

(CPU accesses flash memory. For only read, Byte/Half-word/Word access) 

(2) CPU programming mode   

(CPU accesses flash memory. For reading and writing, only Half-word access) 

(3) Flash memory mode   

(Access to flash memory from external is enabled.)
