Depending on the radio that is in the devices, you must match 
certain parameters on the 2435s and on the access points.  

Press l t 2 4 8 , l x 2 4 8 , or the 
orange > key and then * 2 4 8 to access the TRAKKER 
Antares 2400 Menu System. Choose Configuration Menu > 
Communications Menu > Radio.  

In the Domain field, enter a number from 0 to 15. The 243X 
can only communicate with access points that have the same 
domain. 

In the Security ID field, enter up to 20 alphanumeric 
characters or leave the field blank. The 243X can only 
communicate with access points that have the same security 
ID.  

In the Network Name field, Enter up to 32 alphanumeric 
characters. The 243X only communicates with access points 
that have the same network name.  

Configure the security parameters: 

• (non-802.1x security) Enable WEP Encryption and select 

a WEP Transmit Key. Enter a WEP key value: WEP 64 
requires 5 ASCII characters or hex pairs, and WEP 128 
requires 13 ASCII characters or hex pairs. 

•  (802.1x security) Configure the User Name and 

Password. 

If you have a TE 2000 application, your terminal is configured 
for TE 2000 VT/ANSI by default. You may need to change the 
configuration to TE 2000 5250 or TE 2000 3270. 

On your terminal, press r l. The TE 2000 main menu 
appears.
