Step 14

Verify that the IP address was changed correctly by typing

and pressing Enter to view the blade details.

When prompted, type the slot number for the blade you want to see.

If it is correct, type

and press Enter to exit the program. If not, repeat the steps above.

23 T1 PRI ports, 120 IP ports

This section explains how to use the “blade” command when configuring 23 T1 PRI ports and 120 IP
ports.

Step 1

If you do not already have terminal logging turned on, turn it on before proceeding. For information on
logging, see the

Step 2

At the tech$ prompt, type

blade -p 23 -i 120

and press Enter.

Step 3

Confirm the “blade” command you entered and type

and press Enter. If you entered the wrong

command, type

and press Enter, then re-enter the correct command.

The server responds by telling you how many ports it is configuring. When the tech$ prompt appears, it
is complete. See

Step 4

Verify your configuration by typing

blade

and pressing Enter.

Step 5

Confirm the screen output is like

meetingplace:tech$ blade -p 23 -i 120

This will reset many DB tables, are you sure? (y/n): y

Configuring 120 IP ports

Restart the system for changes to take effect
