Step 1
Before you modify the CD value of the TDC-CC or TDC-FC card, disable the Automatic Power Control (APC) in the
domain that has the TDC-CC or TDC-FC card. To disable the APC domain, complete the “DLP-G157 Disable Automatic
Power Control” task in the
domain that has the TDC-CC or TDC-FC card. To disable the APC domain, complete the “DLP-G157 Disable Automatic
Power Control” task in the
document.
Step 2
Modify the CD value for the TDC-CC or TDC-FC Card. To modify the CD value, Complete the “DLP-G545 Modify the
Chromatic Dispersion Value for the TDC-CC and TDC-FC Cards” task in the chapter “Change DWDM Card Settings” of
the Cisco ONS 15454 DWDM Network Configuration Guide.
