In this procedure, you will delete session IDs greater than 22, and then recreate them 

such that session ID 199 comes right after session ID 22. 
Important:  Pay special attention to step 6 of this procedure. Step 6 provides special 

instructions regarding session ID 199. 

 



  1.  On a sheet of paper, write down every entry in the Inband Data PAT 

window that is out of ascending order. 
Important:  Be sure to record each field: Session MAC Address, Session 

Number, Program Number, and PMT PID. 



  2.  Follow these instructions to delete each out-of-order entry. 

a)  Highlight an out-of-order entry and click Delete Entry. 

Result:  A confirmation message appears. 

b)  Click OK (to confirm the intention to delete). 

Result:  The system deletes the out-of-order entry. 



  3.  Click New Entry on the Inband Data PAT window. 

Result:  The BIG PAT Setup window opens.
