Log out of the DNCS so that you can log back in as root user. When you log in to the 

DNCS as root user, you have the proper permissions to execute some of the 

remaining procedures in this chapter. Follow these instructions to log out of the 

DNCS. 

 

1. 

 

Click EXIT on the toolbar at the bottom of the DNCS screen. 
Result:  A message appears seeking confirmation of your intent to log off the 

DNCS. 

2. 

 

Click OK. 
Results:

You log off the DNCS. 

• 

The Common Desktop Environment (CDE) Login window opens.
