Remove Old BFS Entries
In this procedure, you will remove old BFS entires in the
/dvs/dvsFiles/BFS_REMOTE directory. Follow these instructions to remove old
BFS_REMOTE entries:
1 If necessary, open a remote terminal window on the EC.
2 Complete the following steps to log on to the remote terminal window as the
/dvs/dvsFiles/BFS_REMOTE directory. Follow these instructions to remove old
BFS_REMOTE entries:
1 If necessary, open a remote terminal window on the EC.
2 Complete the following steps to log on to the remote terminal window as the
root user:
a Type
a Type
sux - root
and press Enter. The password prompt opens.
b Type the root password and press Enter.
3 Type the following command and press Enter to change to the
/dvs/dvsFiles/BFS_REMOTE directory:
cd /dvs/dvsFiles/BFS_REMOTE

Type the following command and press Enter to check for old entries:
ls
5 Did the output from step 4 reveal any files or directories?
If yes, type the following command and press Enter to remove these files or
directories:
directories:
rm -r *
If no, type the following command and press Enter to leave the
/dvs/dvsFiles/BFS_REMOTE directory:
/dvs/dvsFiles/BFS_REMOTE directory:
cd
