Using Camp-on  
You can transfer an external call to another telephone, even if all its 
lines are busy. 
Press

Dial the number of the telephone you want to camp the call to.
Camped calls appear on a line button on the receiving telephone, if 
one is available. If there is no line button available, you receive a 
message on the display and hear Camp tones.
You entered an invalid internal number. 
Press 
RETRY
 and enter the number again.
The external caller you were transferring 
hung up before the transfer was complete.
Press
 
JOIN
 
to transfer the call on line 001 to 
telephone 221. Press
 
RETRY
 
if, after talking 
to the person at extension 221, you decide to 
transfer the call to someone else. 
The telephone to which you are trying to 
transfer a call is out of service. 
You cannot transfer the call because of 
telephone or line restrictions.
Complete the transfer in progress before you 
access a new feature, answer another 
alerting call or select an outgoing line. 
Your transfer cannot be completed for one of 
these reasons:
• All the resources needed to perform a 
transfer are in use. Try again later.
• You have tried to transfer an external 
call to another external party. Some 
restrictions apply.
• You cannot transfer your conference 
call.

if you entered the wrong 
internal number or if the person to whom you 
are transferring the call is unavailable.
