4. Electronic Key Counter (EKC)
The electronic key counter (EKC) can be used to limit access to
the system to certain departments, users or key accounts. 128
counters are available. A copy limit can be programmed for each
key counter.
The EKC programming mode can only be accessed with the
special 8-digit EKC master code. This code is not displayed. If you
have entered a wrong number, press RETURN to return to the
key operator main screen; then repeat the access procedure,
entering the correct code.
The EKC programming mode includes the following options:
1. Entering and changing EKC data, allocating limits for individual
key counters;
2. Changing limits, deleting and resetting individual counters;
3. Resetting all counters;
4. Activating and deactivating the EKC mode,
5. Setting system condition upon reaching EKC copy limit.
