3.2 Magnification User Set
Three individual magnification ratios (= special ratios) can be
programmed.
Press one of the USERSET keys. Enter the required ratio via the
key pad and confirm your setting with OK.
Important!
Only ratios between 0.25 and 4.00 are available.
It is not advisable to change the six preset magnifications ratios.
Their values represent reduction and enlargement in DIN sizes
(e.g. 1.41 = A4
3 A3).  Changing these ratios can result in faulty
copies.
This allows to specify two individual user sets for density levels as
well as three individual user sets for magnification ratios, all of
which are then available as soft keys on the corresponding
screens.
3.1  Density User Set
Under two user sets, you can program one individual lighter and
one individual darker density setting.
– Position an original on the platen glass.
– Press Userset 1 or Userset 2 to program an individual density
setting.
– The screen for sample copies in 16 darker density levels is
displayed. To switch to the screen for sample copies in 16
lighter density levels, press the Lighter key on the left.
– To produce the first sample copy with 4 density levels, press
one of the keys on the right, e.g. No. 1 for a sample copy with
levels 1 to 4.
– Press START to print the sample copy.
– If required, print further sample copies with different shades.
– Once you have found a suitable density level for programming,
touch the corresponding number in the screen and confirm
this setting with OK, now leaving the screen. The density user
set adjusted last is now active.
The programmed density settings can be recalled in the Basic
screen under USER 1 and USER 2.
