4.1 Allocating EKC Passwords
4. Electronic Key Counter (EKC)
– Use the key pad to enter the number of the counter (000 to
127), for for which you want to allocate a password.
– Now, press the Password key.
– You can now enter a 5-digit code as a user password.
Important!
The user code 00000 will not be accepted.
– Press the Name key, and enter the name (max 24 digits) of the
user, to whom this password is allocated.
– Confirm the name with OK.
– Under Limit, a max. copy limit can be programmed for this
user code. This is optional.
– Use the key pad to enter a max. copy quantity, if desired.
Finally, confirm all entries for this counter by pressing OK.
– If you have allocated a user code which already exists as a
password for a different counter, you will now be prompted to
change the code. Press YES and enter a different password.
Confirm by pressing OK again.
4.2 EKC Data List
Call up this list to check, delete or enter changes to EKC
passwords.
To Change an Entry
– Use the arrows to mark the required counter and press EDIT.
To Delete an Entry
– Use the arrows to mark the required counter and press
DELETE.
To Add an Entry
– Press the ADD key, and allocate a password as explained
above (4.1).
