10. Manually Setting the Time/Date
The Radio Projection Clock can receive the DCF signal in a range extending approx 1500km
from the signal's source in Mainflingen (near Frankfurt on the Main).
Like other radio transmissions (radio, television, remote controls, etc.) this signal transmission
can also suffer interference. Such interference can be caused by electric or electronic devices
or metal parts which are located in the vicinity of the radio projection clock.
Therefore, you can enter the time and date manually instead of setting it automatically per DCF
signal.
To do this, proceed as follows:
• Press the "MODE" (6) button quickly and repeatedly until the room temperature is shown in
the upper line of the display.
• Hold the "MODE" button (6) down long enough (approx. 3 seconds) until the hours of the time
display start to flash in the middle of the display.
• The rocker button "+/-" (7) can be used to set the hour. For quick adjustment, hold down the
rocker button a little longer.
• By briefly pressing the "MODE" (6) button you can switch to setting minutes, year, month,
day. Each setting is then adjusted using the rocker button "+/-" (7).
The day of the week (Monday....Sunday) is calculated automatically.
• After the day has been set, the next press of the "MODE" button saves the settings.
11. Switching Between 12/24h Modes
Briefly press the “+“ rocker button (7) to switch between 12 h and 24h modes. In the 12 hour
format, "AM" is displayed in the first half of the day and "PM" in the second half.
Switching between modes is only possible during normal operation, i.e. not
while the time/date is being set or when the alarm settings are being adjusted.
