2. Index new % or $ amount to be applied for this dis-

count/surcharge, in hundredths.

Example: 100 = $1.00 for a $ type discount/surcharge

100 = 100% for a % type discount/surcharge

3. Press preset {DISCOUNT/SURCHARGE} key.

(depends on POS Option #24, Discounts under Man-

ager Control).

4. Index the number of the discount/surcharge wanted.
5. Screen displays name and amount as a line item on the

check.

6. Press {TOTAL} or {CLEAR} to verify the new check total.
