This function can be set up to run automatically. Procedures

are in the FDS Crystal Point Back Office and Programming

Manual, and in the FDS Crystal Point Installation Guide.

q Selecting System Resets closes down other workstations

until the reset is completed.

q When a Period 1 reset is done, the totals update to Pe-

riod 2 and Period 3 reports.

q Period 2 reports can either be overwritten with the daily

totals (thus becoming yesterday’s totals), or accumulate

until a Period 2 reset is done. This depends on the set-

ting of POS Option #54, Accumulate Period 2 Totals.

q Period 3 reports accumulate the daily totals until a Pe-

riod 3 reset is done.

q Touch stations should be at the Server Screen before a

System Reset is done.

q ALL FDS Reports are archived automatically during the

reset. Those which print with the PRINT RESET

REPORTS function are set with POS Option Reports to

Print at Reset (Reset Reports Options screen).
