q Names for the three Period reports are programmed in

the Period Names Table.

q Some reports accumulate totals for three Periods and

some have daily totals only.

q POS Option #54, Accumulate Period 2 Totals, provides

an option for how Period 2 Reports are used:

•

POS Option #54 YES, Period 1 totals add to the Pe-

riod 2 report (accumulate) until Period 2 is reset.

This option is most commonly used when Period 2 is

for a Weekly Report.

•

POS Option #54 NO, Period 1 totals overwrite the

Period 2 report with each daily reset. The Period 2

report becomes yesterdays totals.

q All reports are updated with check data when the check

is tendered except the Periodic Reading, Day Parts and

Period Summary Reports. These reports update accord-

ing to the setting of POS Option #67, Update Meal Pe-

riod Reports At Order Entry.

•

POS Option #67 YES, the period reports update

when a check is opened.

•

POS Option #67 NO, the period reports update

when a check is closed.
