Cisco Cisco Unified MeetingPlace 8.6

Cisco may release patches for Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Release 8.6 at various times. To download 
any applicable patches, go to Cisco.com:

navigate to the appropriate section. Patches are indicated by an SR number, such as MeetingPlace Web 
Conferencing Software-8.6(2)_SR1.

Make sure that you read any readme files associated with your patch download for the latest notes and 
warnings.

For the Application Server, select Products > Conferencing > Web Conferencing > Cisco Unified 
MeetingPlace.

For the Web Server, select Products > Conferencing > Web Conferencing > Cisco Unified 
MeetingPlace. 

Be sure to review your migration procedure carefully before attempting the migration. Each procedure 
has specific considerations and steps that must be performed in the correct order. For detailed

For migrated systems, obtain your Release 8.6 licenses by following the procedure in

Upgrades from Release 8.6.1 to Release 8.6.x use the same licenses, so no changes are required.

Once Release 8.6 is loaded on the system, standard upgrades are supported.

If you have a Web Server, upgrade it to Release 8.6.2.10.

In a multi-node system, nodes can be upgraded one at a time. The system continues to hold conferences 
while the nodes are being upgraded. However, configuration changes are limited until the upgrade is 
complete.
