Limitations and Restrictions
Enterprise service is active on both nodes after LRM service fails over
Symptom: In an high availability system, when the Licensing and Resource Management (LRM) service
fails over from Side A to Side B, Enterprise service should follow and fail over to Side B as well.
However, Enterprise service remains active on Side A while simultaneously becoming active on Side B.

Description: During a failover, Enterprise service becomes active on Side B but does not become
inactive on Side A because LRM service does not send a demotion message to Enterprise service.

Workaround: Restart the Enterprise service on the side where LRM service is inactive.
Spcd.sys is installed in the wrong location on 64-bit Windows systems
Symptom: Recording and monitoring fails. The error message “SPCD Driver service is not running.
Attempting to start it. Unable to start driver.” is received.

Description: Spcd.sys driver is in the wrong directory.
Workaround: You must manually copy the spcd.sys driver to the correct directory. Follow these steps

Some historical data is stored in a data store on the CAD server. This data provides the content for the
Agent State Log and Agent Call Log, as well as the metadata displayed in the Supervisor Record Viewer.
CAD can use either of two types of data stores, flat files (the default) or Microsoft SQL Server 2005.
The most significant difference between the two types of data stores is how data is maintained during a
failover in a high availability (HA) environment. There is the possibility that, in limited circumstances,
some data loss might occur during a failover if flat files are used.
